Bordering the Douro River and possessing ideal afternoon sun exposure, the slopes of Quinta dos Aciprestes have been replanted with the most highly recommended Douro varieties.
The vineyards ideal location between the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior ripens the red fruit characters of the grapes to optimum levels.
This Quinta dos Aciprestes Reserva is produced mostly from Touriga Nacional, blended with Touriga Franca on a smaller scale, supplied from the 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th parcels of the Quinta.

Fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. The wine then ages in french oak barriques for a period of 12 months, in which 30% of the wine ages in new oak.
An intensely aromatic wine with nuances of vanilla harmoniously integrated with fruit aromas and floral notes, demonstrating its youth and the dominating character of the Touriga Nacional. Flavourfull and very elegant, with a long, lasting and very fullfilling finish. A wine with great potential to age in bottle.
