1) RCV Series Tinto Cao 2016 – Vivino Rating 4.3
Tinto Cao is a synonym of the Douro! A wonderful grape that produces small berries with thick skin and full of flavour. This is a red of great character and expression, with immense aromatic complexity and rusticity, showing aromas of red fruit and herbal suggestions in a charming nose. On the palate, it reveals itself rustic, with firm tannins, yet delicate, showing some elegance and finishing off vibrant and lingering.
2) Ravasqueira Premium Alicante Bouschet 2014 - Vivino Rating 4.3
Tasting Notes: Dark and typical in Alicante Bouschet’s color. This wine is the maximum expression of what can be an Alicante Bouschet from the Alentejo. Powerful and mature in the mouth and nose does not lose the virtue of the grape variety to generate fresh wines and always with notes of green grass or pinewood that help the prolongation of his life.
3) Bacalhoa Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 – Vivino Rating 4.2
Tasting Notes: This wine has a deep ruby colour which is semi opaque. Maintaining its classical style, Quinta da Bacalhoa 2016 presents red fruit aromas, combined with wood and spice nuances. In the mouth sensations of red fruits are highlighted and combined with soft tannins. It has a fresh, slightly mineral, elegant and very complex finish.
4) Quinta Do Javali | Touriga Nacional | Red 2012 | Doc Douro - Vivino Rating 4.3
Tasting Notes: Deep red with violet reflexes. Very expressive nose, predominantly black ripe fruit notes, with some hints of floral aromas (violet). Highlight the toasty notes of the barrel that enhance the greedy appetite of wine, with greater emphasis on nuances of vanilla and coconut. The mouth press for the elegant structure, without being aggressive, guarantees a good persistence, in line with attractive notes of toasted oak barrels.
5) Monte da Ravasqueira Syrah - Vivino 3.8
Aging: 8 months in French Oak Tasting Notes: Dark and dense garnet colour. Nose of great impact and balance between notes of ripe black fruit, plum and fig and notes of wood aging. In the race it presents a unique lightness and power with a velvety texture and made for the meals at the table.
6) Scala Coeli Syrah 2017 - Vivino 4.6
This wine takes its name from the Santa Maria Scala Coeli Monastery where monks live in silence and daily prayer. Only produced in exceptional years. It is made entirely from Syrah and aged for 15 months in French Oak barrels. A heavy garnet coloured wine. Aroma of forest fruit, confined plum, dark chocolate, rockrose and resin. Very fresh in the mouth, with excellent acidity, associated with firm tannins that will ensure great capacity for evolution. Good concentration, with elegant finish. Pairs wonderfully with Wagyu Steak, Game, Charcuterie & Roast Pork. (vivino 4.6)
